Two of Walsh’s teammates also netted post-season awards after guiding the Panthers to a section championship and a quarterfinal appearance in the WPIAL playoffs. Alex Amos, a 6-1, junior outsider hitter, and Kindler Norman, a 5-9 senior setter, merited all-section recognition and second-team honors on the all-district squad.
Other local ladies to receive all-WPIAL honors at the Quad-A level included: Mt. Lebanon’s Katherine Peters and Maggie Rimmel as well as Bethel Park’s Katye Zeiler (all second team) plus Erin Sullivan and Canon-McMillan’s Katie Weston (third team). All gained all-section acclaim. Lebo’s Molly Boehner joined the group on the all-section squad.

On the Class AAA level, Chartiers Valley placed two on the all-WPIAL list: Jane Radavich (second team) and Marissa Parisi (third team). Both gained all-section acclaim. Both were senior outside hitters for the Colts.
In Class AA, sophomore middle hitter Jenni Pitts and seniord outside hitter Megan Manion from Seton-La Salle gained second- and third-team status on the all-district team.
