The Early Mays will perform one night only, March 6 at Central Presbyterian Church, Tarentum.
The Early Mays burst on to the folk music scene in 2014 with a #2 debut on the National Folk-DJ charts and the WYEP Artist of the Year award. Rhythmic, evocative, dark and wistful, their Appalachian-inspired folk songs are built on deep country sensibilities, masterful ballad singing and a sweet, old-time sound. Fiddle, banjo, guitar and harmonium are the backdrop for vocal harmonies.
A goodwill offering will be taken, and a reception will follow the concert.
