Second annual Restaurant Week features ‘Chef’s Best Dish’ kick-off event

The Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency announces the 2016 Washington County Restaurant Week, March 7-13. The event was created to highlight Washington County’s premier dining destinations as well as showcase the county’s food, restaurants and chefs that make the area one of the best places to live in the nation.

Washington County Restaurant Week will begin with a kick-off event March 3 at The Meadows Casino. The event will feature a “Chef’s Best Dish” competition as well as an appearance by Kristin Butterworth, who is the Chef de Cuisine of Lautrec at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. The attendees will have the opportunity to sample food prepared by the finest chef’s and at the conclusion of the evening, attendees will vote on Washington County’s “Best Dish.” Last year, more than 430 people attended the inaugural “Chef’s Best Dish” Kick-Off event.

The Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency has also launched www.WashingtonCountyRestaurantWeek.com for additional information, including participating restaurants.
