‘Anna in the Tropics’

Little Lake Theatre Company announces “Anna in the Tropics,” Nilo Cruz’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play directed by Art DeConciliis.

Excitement is in the air as Santiago’s family awaits the arrival of the new lector employed to read to the workers in his cigar factory. As charismatic Juan Julian reads Leo Tolstoy’s “Anna Karenina,” the workers quickly fall under his spell, and passions ignite. Those newly kindled passions, combined with the tropical heat and the promise of the American dream, prove to be explosive.

Performances are at 8 p.m. July 14-16 and 21-23, and 2 p.m. July 17.

Tickets are $18-$20 for adults and $12 for children.

For tickets or more information, visit www.littlelake.org or call 724-745-6300.
