Bower Hill Community Church, Mt. Lebanon, plans a canoe trip on the Youghiogheny River for July 30. Families and singles are welcome. Meet at the church at 8:15 a.m. to carpool to West Newton. Bring a picnic lunch, sun protection and drinking water. Spend two hours on the river and be back to the church before 2 p.m. Canoes, for families of 2 to 4 persons, are $43.
