Lane restrictions on Boyce Road in Upper St. Clair and South Fayette townships are expected to take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The work, which is part of the state Department of Transportation’s surface improvement plan, is targeting Boyce Road for base repairs.

Today, crews are working from Mayview Road to Washington Road in Upper St. Clair. That will be followed by continued work from Hunting Ridge Road to Washington Pike in South Fayette later this week.

The daylight project, which will continue on Washington Pike following the completion of Boyce Road, includes milling part of the road surface and placing an asphalt overlay.

Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and all work is weather permitting.

Motorists traveling through Upper St. Clair also are being subjected to delays and detours with work on McLauglin Run Road and the temporary closure of part of Painters Run Road.
