Providence Point announces Phase II expansion
The Phase II expansion of Providence Point senior living community in Scott Township will include a third residential tower, a new non-denominational chapel and the enlargement of existing dining areas and kitchens, according to Al Allison, president and CEO of Baptist Homes Society.
Eighty new apartment residences, ranging in size from 888 square feet to 1,764 square feet, will be housed in the new tower. Underground and outdoor parking spaces will be added. A new connector hallway with additional meeting and event spaces, and expansion of the dining services areas are also part of the plan, ensuring indoor access to all common areas.
“We are expanding to meet the continued demand for Providence Point’s exceptional senior living services,” Allison said. “Our high-quality amenities and wellness programming are unparalleled in our area, but what truly sets us apart is the value of our LifeCare agreement. The availability of LifeCare services through our on-campus continuum of care provides peace of mind, helps to protect and preserve assets and offers financial security.”
As part of Baptist Homes Society, Providence Point provides an active and vibrant lifestyle for older adults and offers amenities such as a Wellness Center that includes an indoor swimming pool, a complete fitness center and a whirlpool spa. A day spa offers a full service salon with massage, manicure and pedicure services. The residents of Providence Point also enjoy several dining venues, lush gardens, a library, on-site banking, an art studio and billiards room. Those living at Providence Point can also take advantage of an indoor golf simulator and an outdoor Bocce court.
Currently, Providence Point is accepting deposits from those interested in reserving a home in the new tower. Expression of Interest luncheons are held twice monthly at Providence Point. There are also a limited number of patio homes and apartment residences available in the current inventory.
Providence Point opened in 2009 and is sponsored by Baptist Homes Society.
