Finleyville
Crossroads Ministires, Finleyville, will hold “Walk This Way” vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon July 11-15. Pre-kindergarten children, ages 3-5 and potty trained, through students entering fifth grade will participate in worship, Bible lessons, skits, prizes, games, snacks, crafts and service projects. Berean Fellowship Church, Scott Township, will offer Gideon’s Raging River Adventure vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 1-4. Children ages 4 to 12 will participate in activities including small group lessons and crafts, large group instruction, puppets and a field day. This year’s daily live drama presents a message of faithfulness, loyalty and overcoming fear. Lunch is provided. All material is written in-house by the Rev. Stephanie Moder. • Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, will host an evening Vacation Bible “eXperience” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 11-16 for children ages 3 through sixth grade. The week will feature songs, stories, games, sports and art. A collection will be held to help other children in the world, and students will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of their favorite book to be donated to another child in the region. Activities for the whole family held before and after the VBX will include tie-dyeing, movie night, family service project, fun run, carnival night and hot dog party.
