South Hills high school musicals
Of the many clubs and activities that a high school student can participate in, none get quite as much buzz as the annual spring musical. To make the musical the best it can be, countless hours of work are put into it, from the singing and acting itself to the stage and costume design and the orchestral accompaniment. Because of all these aspects, all types of students help make the show a success. This sense of cooperation gives the feeling that the musical is an excellent representation of nearly everyone at the school.
What’s interesting about these performances is the mix of nostalgia with brand new experiences. Obviously, because the performances are live, no single one of them is quite the same. But at the same time, many of these musicals are famous and beloved by many, with some enthusiasts able to sing every song from memory. The chance to see students you might know in familiar roles, in a professional manner, is very unique. No matter which school you show your support for, you will be both familiar and surprised with the results.
