Upper St. Clair receives field user fee check
Brett Russell of the Upper St. Clair Athletic Association presented the USC township commissioners with the 2015 field users fee check at the board’s March 7 regular meeting. Included in the program cost for each child playing an outdoor sport is a field users fee for field maintenance. In 2015, the field users fee generated $31,305.
Jay Wenger of Susquehanna Group Advisors provided the board with an update on the 2008 bond issue. No action was taken.
The board approved an amendment to the fees section of the township code, increasing the fee for transfer of a liquor license from $500 to $750. The amendment also established fees for use of the library’s 3D printer: a $3 set-up fee and a fee of $1 per hour of use.
Also approved was a contract with El Grande Industries for $1,527, 575 for the township’s 2016 street improvement program and paving of the Morton Sports Complex parking lot. The board approved a contract with Russell Standard for $42,000 for crack sealing.
