Tickets are on sale now for five-time Grammy winner BJ Thomas, who will perform June 11 at The Meadows Casino’s new Event Center. Sponsored by America’s Pop Music Hall of Fame and The Meadows, the concert will mark the kick-off of the annual Summer Concert Series.

Thomas, who is also a two-time Dove Award winner, has sold more than 70 million records and is ranked in Billboard’s Top 50 most played artists over the past 50 years. The performance will feature many of his renowned songs, including “Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head” and “Hooked on a Feeling.”

Proceeds from the concert will support America’s Pop Music Hall of Fame, which does not currently have a permanent location, but is in the planning/fundraising stages for an eventual permanent structure for exhibits, interactive displays and a concert venue.

“We are thrilled to have an iconic pop singer such as BJ Thomas as the first performer in what we hope will be a series of concerts recognizing achievement in popular music,” said Terry Hazlett, executive director of America’s Pop Music Hall of Fame.

“Washington County has long been a hotbed of entertainment with music greats such as Perry Como, Bobby Vinton, Ray Anthony, Joey Powers and the Four Coins among others,” said Sean Sullivan, vice president and general manger of The Meadows Casino. “We are delighted to support the efforts of establishing a permanent location for America’s Pop Music Hall of Fame and the ability to increase tourism throughout Washington County.”

Ticket prices range from $19.95-$34.95.
