The 15th Annual Taste of the Township to benefit Peters Township Public Library will be held 7-11 p.m. April 29 at Valley Brook Country Club, McMurray.
The event showcases food samples from nearby restaurants and offers choice items for silent bidding or Chinese auction. Live music will be provided by Luccarelli Jazz.
“Taste of the Township is an excellent opportunity to socialize with family and friends, while sampling the delicious fare from local restaurants and supporting our incredible library,” said Taste of the Township committee chairperson Margaret Verlato.
“It’s also a wonderful opportunity to chat with our local chefs and to catch up with friends and neighbors that you haven’t seen in a while,” said Myra Oleynik, library director. “Seeing so many people gathered that evening in support of the library is heartwarming!”
Tickets are available at the library’s circulation desk for $50/person; cash, credit card or check payable to “TOT Friends of the Library” is accepted. Proceeds will benefit the award-winning library.
