Summons sent: Police sent a summons to Jesse Acton, 28, of 827 Maple Ave., Courtney, Pa., on March 13 for fraudulent vehicle documents, according to reports.
Criminal trespass: Tyler Mitro, 22, of 446 Perry Hwy., Harmony, was charged with criminal trespass and drug violations on March 13 on Hiwood Drive, police said.
Cecil Township
Gun theft: Natalie and Jesse McCready, 1012 Coldstream Drive, Canonsburg, told police March 14 that a handgun valued at $300 was missing from their night stand.
Theft by deception: Nicholas Arlett, a resident of the United Kingdom, told police March 14 he made two separate wire transfers valued at $5,000 in December to Samuel J. Secreti Jr. of 79 McConnell Road, Canonsburg, for two cars for sale on eBay. Arlett said he never received the cars and police charged Secreti with theft by deception.
Peters Township
One-vehicle accident: Robert Carney, 28, of New Martinsville, W.Va., was driving in the northbound lane in the 2900 block of Washington Road March 17 when he allegedly feel asleep. Police said Carney’s vehicle drifted into the southbound lanes of Washington Road, went up an embankment and then struck a utility pole by Cagni Drive before turning over. Carney received minor injuries, but declined treatment. His car was towed from the scene.
Ring missing: A resident of the 100 block of Driftwood Drive in McMurray told police she was missing a diamond ring March 19. According to reports, the appraised value of the ring is $45,000.
Upper St. Clair
Retail theft: Meghan Pritchard, 28, of Pittsburgh, was charged with retail theft March 16 stemming from an incident in February at South Hills Village Mall. According to reports, Pritchard took $770 worth of cosmetics from the Sephora store in the mall.
