St. Bernard School in Mt. Lebanon hosts 39th annual May Mart
The 39th annual St. Bernard School May Mart features plenty of activities, plus visitors will have the opportunity to see some new components of the school.
The event, the school’s largest fundraiser, is from 6 to 10 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, in the back parking lot of 401 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon.
St. Bernard School has converted its longtime auditorium into a new school library, plus the school also has a new cafeteria and a raised-bed-container “edible schoolyard” planting area.
Friday’s entertainment includes performers from the Shovlin Academy of Irish Dance in Dormont, along with a disc jockey. On Saturday, the rock band Port Vue will perform from 8 to 10.
The festival features a bounce house, BOGO book fair, Polish booth, Vietnamese booth, Italian booth, St. Bernard’s famous apple pie booth and other assorted food offerings.
