Cecil Township
Tools taken: Police are investigating theft of construction tools and painting equipment May 9 from the under-construction Reserve of Southpointe apartment complex, according to reports.
Criminal mischief: Gwen Castanet of 1227 Valleyview Drive, Lawrence, told police May 9 that someone shot a BB pellet at one of her windows, causing $200 in damage, police said.
Windshield damaged: William Nickels of 1437 Yorktown Road, Lawrence, reported May 9 that someone shot two or three BB pellets at the windshield of his vehicle, police said.
Mt. Lebanon
Simple assault: Police arrested Michael Koerner, 42, of 411 Royal Court, Mt. Lebanon, on May 1 and charged him with simple assault, according to reports.
Stolen property: Jonathan Weidenhof, 23, of 514 Kenmont Ave., Mt. Lebanon, was arrested May 4 on North Meadowcroft Avenue and charged with receiving stolen property and theft from a vehicle, police said.
Possession of marijuana: Richard Silinskas, 24, of 1217 Tennessee Ave., Dormont, was arrested on McNeilly Road May 8 and charged with public drunkenness and possession of marijuana, police said.
Peters Township
Reportable accident: Alisa Hollerich, 19, of South Park Township was taken to St. Clair Hospital May 13 following a one-car accident at Bebout and Boyer roads in Peters. According to reports, Hollerich’s car hydroplaned and struck a utility pole. Police said Hollerich’s vehicle had to be towed. The accident remains under investigation.
Criminal mischief: Someone broke a window in the pro shop and tennis shack, and sprayed a fire extinguisher on May 17 at Rolling Hills Country Club on East McMurray Road, police said. Police are investigating.
Upper St. Clair
Retail theft: Police arrested Corren D. Holman, 26, of Oakdale on May 13 and charged her with retail theft stemming from two separate incidents at Ulta at South Hills Village Mall. Police, who identified Holman through video, said she took $740 in merchandise from the store May 5 and $844 worth on May 10.
DUI arrest: Police charged James Hunter, 49, of 2075 Washington Road, Upper St. Clair, with driving under the influence May 14 on Washington Road. According to reports, Hunter clipped the right-side mirror of a Peters Township police car that had pulled over another motorist just over the Allegheny County line, and Hunter did not stop. Peters police, assisted by Upper St. Clair police, pulled Hunter over a short time later near the intersection of Old Washington and Boyce roads, reports said.
