At the Anglican Parish of Christ the Redeemer, Canonsburg, services featuring informal Holy Communion, children’s Christian education and nursery care are held at 5 p.m. Saturdays. On Sundays, traditional liturgy featuring hymns and praise, Children’s Christian education and nursery care take place at 9:30 a.m.
At Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, Introducing PEP Jr. (People Enjoying People for Kids) will be held at 6 p.m. June 10. This kick-off event is designed for elementary-age children with special needs. Each child is to be accompanied by a caregiver. Children will enjoy dinner, crafts, games and meeting new friends. Cost is $5 per person.
• The seventh annual Bridges Golf Outing is June 18 at Ponderosa Golf Course in Hookstown. Registration is at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9. Proceeds from the Men’s Ministry benefit will go toward Family Promise and Christ Church mission projects.
