Veterans aid workshop
Paramount Senior Living at Bethel Park will host a free educational workshop about the VA Aid and Attendance benefit at 10 a.m. June 25 at the community, located on Baptist Road. Veterans who served in World War II, Korea or Vietnam and their surviving spouses may be eligible for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Aid and Attendance Pension, which offers a monthly tax-free benefit, ranging from $1,149 to $2,120 per month. Seniors lunch
Chabad of the South Hills, Mt. Lebanon, will hold a seniors lunch at noon on July 19. Enjoy uplifting music and “scarf dance” to inspiring tunes with imaginative thoughts. Before lunch, listen to inspiring stories and poems. Intergenerational specialist teacher and educator Audree Pincus Schall will present the program, Suggested donation is $5. Wheelchair accessible. Chair exercises
Chair Exercises for Seniors takes place at Scott Township Library from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesdays. Space is limited for the DVD-directed program. Preregister by calling 412-429-5380.
