‘The Second Star’
Bethel Park High School will stage the comedy “The Second Star” as its fall play at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10-12 in the high school auditorium.
In this “behind the scenes” comedy, the Second Act Theater tries to save the community theater from closing by mounting a last-minute benefit performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” starring the theater’s most egotistical diva. As members hurry to put together the show, personalities clash and tempers flare, turning “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” into A Midsummer Nightmare.
Tickets are $5 and a pre-sale will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 3-4 and 7-8 in the high school lobby.
Tickets can also be purchased at the door on performance evenings.
