Pre-World War II America sets the scene for ‘Merchant of Venice’

‘The Merchant of Venice’
On Nov. 3, PICT Classic Theatre will continue its 2016-2017 season with “The Merchant of Venice,” set against the backdrop of pre-World War II America.
Performances are at Union Project, located on Negley Avenue in Highland Park. Upcoming PICT productions include “The Lion In Winter,” “Oedipus Rex” and “Sive.”
