At Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, a panake breakfast will follow all services on Confirmation Sunday, from 10 to 11 a.m. and from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 20. The menu will include pancakes, fruit, meat side and drinks. Cost is by donation. Proceeds benefit next summer’s mission trip.

At St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon, St. Bernard School will hold its second annual Family Volunteer Day from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 19 in Clairvaux Hall. Participate in several organized activities to benefit local families in need, including: Friendship Cards Station, Project Linus, Ornaments for Asbury Heights, Cards for Soldiers and Socks for the Homeless.
