At the Bible Chapel, Peters Township, a Special Needs Respite will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 14. At Broniak and Kraf Greenhouse and Florist, 3205 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, a Rosary Rally sponsored by America Needs Fatima will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 15. At Chabad of the South Hills Jewish Center for Living and Learning, Mt. Lebanon, the High Holiday schedule has been announced for Yom Kippur, Oct. 11-12. All prayers will combine the original Hebrew and translated English. In addition, a special children’s program will accompany the adult services. Services on Oct. 11 include 6:30 p.m. Kol Nidrei. At Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, the fall worship schedule has begun. Sunday worship services will now be at 9 and 11 a.m. (traditional) and 9:01 and 11:01 a.m. (contemporary).

• Prayer 101, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 5-19.

• Wednesday Night Dinners, 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Wednesdays in October. Served buffet style with open seating. • UMW Weekend, Oct. 8-9 at all worship services. Recognize and celebrate the worldwide influence of United Methodist Women.

• Youth group, 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 9, 16 and 30. This year’s topic is “What If?” Dinner, games and worship are featured.

• Fellowship luncheon with Un4gettable Barbershop Quartet of the South Hills Keystone Chorus, Oct. 12. Lunch begins at noon, followed by the performance at 1. Cost for the luncheon and program is $9.

• Molly’s Trolley Pittsburgh Tour for women, Oct. 22. Meet at 8:45 a.m. at the church to carpool or 9:30 at Station Square. Tour departs at 10 from Station Square. Reservations are limited. Cost is $27. Deadline to register is Oct. 12 at the church office or at christumc.net/MollysTrolley.

• Women’s Pottery Painting Party, 6 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Pottery Place, South Park Shops, Bethel Park. All women are invited to join the fellowship and Gardening Group event. At Church of the Atonement, Carnegie, Autumn Tea @ Atonement is Oct. 22. Doors open at 12:15 p.m., followed by teas with scones, creams, finger sandwiches and desserts at 1. See the latest in fashions presented by Dress Barn. There will be Chinese baskets, a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. At Crossroads Ministries, Finleyville, “Clubhouse Kids” runs from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays for children ages 3 through fifth grade. At Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, a fall festival and pig roast will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, East McMurray Road, Peters Township. The event will feature a basket raffle, caramel apple dipping, children’s activities including a bounce house, pig roast with homemade fries, coleslaw and fall desserts. • GriefShare, a bereavement support group, meets from 10 a.m. to noon or from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through Dec. 8. The Bible-based support group consists of DVD teaching followed by discussion and sharing with others. Join any time and return for any missed classes. Cost of $15 includes workbook.

At South Hills Church of the Nazarene, Bethel Park, the fall session of DivorceCare Support Group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, through Dec. 15. DivorceCare features a video each week prior to discussion, with nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Seminar sessions include “Facing My Anger,” “Facing My Loneliness,” “Depression,” “New Relationships,” “KidCare” and “Forgiveness.” Cost of $20 includes a workbook.
