Water main break shuts down Mt. Lebanon High School

Mt. Lebanon High School is closed Tuesday after the school district was informed about a water main break at 6:15 a.m.
District officials decided use the emergency phone call system in place to inform staff, parents and students that school would be canceled.
As a result of the break, Pennsylvania-American Water Co. customers on Cochran Road, Florida Avenue, Claravista Avenue, Miami Avenue, Atlanta Drive, Cedar Boulevard, Altoona Place, Navato Place and Landsdale Place could experience no water, low pressure or discolored water.
Pennsylvania-American crews began making emergency repairs that are expected to take 10 hours before water service is back to normal.
All other schools in Mt. Lebanon are in session.
