Dayna Colaizzi of Pleasant Hills, the nursing home administrator of ManorCare Bethel Park, is among seven, elite health care professionals honored by the Pennsylvania Health Care Association’s (PHCA) annual Hero Awards program.
She was presented with the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) “Administrator of the Year” award and celebrated for her positive impact on the lives of facility residents and their families, and her colleagues at the association’s annual convention on Sep. 27 in Lancaster.
Colaizzi has been a Registered Nurse for 39 years and a nursing home administrator for 25 years, including nine years of service with ManorCare. She has served at Bethel Park for five years.
The McMurray Lions Club awarded Joseph Marosz Sr. Scholarships to two Peters Township High School seniors, Rachel Aurin and Kellen Daley, at the awards ceremony held at the high school in June. The McMurray Lions Club awards at least one scholarship each year to a deserving senior from PTHS.
