At Bethel Presbyterian Church, Trunk or Treat will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 29. Members will hand out Halloween snacks from their cars in the church parking lot on Bethel Church Road, and games will be played in the gym just off the church parking lot.

At Hamilton Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park, the annual Trunk-or-Treat will be held at noon on Oct. 30 in the parking lot. Children dressed in costume will go car-to-car collecting treats from participants who decorate their trunks. At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, Harvest Fest will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 28, featuring games, bump-n-jumps, laser tag, pumpkin patch, face painting, popcorn, snow cones and candy for children in sixth grade and under. • GriefShare, a bereavement support group, meets from 10 a.m. to noon or from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through Dec. 8. The Bible-based support group consists of DVD teaching followed by discussion and sharing with others. Join any time and return for any missed classes. Cost of $15 includes workbook.
• CommuniTea, a women’s Bible study/fellowship for all ages, meets from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 4. Led by Sue Willis with a variety of dynamic teachers/speakers, the theme is “Women of Influence.” Free childcare provided with prior registration.

At South Hills Church of the Nazarene, Bethel Park, the fall session of DivorceCare Support Group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, through Dec. 15. DivorceCare features a video each week prior to discussion, with nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Cost of $20 includes a workbook. Limited scholarships are available. At Trinity United Methodist Church, located on Center Church Road in McMurray, the annual spaghetti dinner and bake sale will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 in Fellowship Hall. The dinner, offering a choice of meat or vegetarian sauce, is $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 4-12. Children under the age of 4 are free. Take-outs will be available. Proceeds benefit Trinity’s outreach ministries, including the Appalachia Service Project.
