• “Cotton Patch Gospel,” a musical dinner drama, 6 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 30. This one-man show tells the story of Jesus as told in the Book of Matthew. Dinner, which includes fried chicken and a beverage, begins at 6 followed by the show at 7:30. Bring a southern dish, salad or dessert to serve 8-10 people. Cost is $10. At Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, a Community Harvest Festival will take place Sept. 23 and 24. At Crossroads Ministries, Finleyville, “Clubhouse Kids” runs from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays. Clubhouse Kids is designed with a strategy to shape the character and faith of children ages 3 through fifth grade. At Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, Mt. Lebanon, the annual Autumn Food Fair & Yiayia Joan’s Attic will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 5-7 in the Community Center, located across from The Galleria. The event will feature Greek favorites including moussaka, tiropita, spanakopita, pastitsio, rice pudding, soups and more. There will also be a bake sale featuring Greek pastries, pies, cakes, jams, nuts, candies and a variety of breads. At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, a new session of the bereavement support group GriefShare will meet from 10 a.m. to noon or from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through Dec. 8. At South Hills Church of the Nazarene, Bethel Park, the fall session of DivorceCare Support Group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, through Dec. 15. DivorceCare features a video each week prior to discussion with nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Seminar sessions include Facing My Anger, Facing My Loneliness, Depression, New Relationships, KidCare and Forgiveness. Cost of $20 includes a workbook. At St. Valentine Church, Bethel Park, a Polka Mass and Oktoberfest will be held on Oct. 8. The Polka Mass will be held during the 4 p.m. vigil.
