The History Channel’s “American Pickers” is coming to Pennsylvania this September, and the show is looking to feature unique collections from around the state, perhaps right here in our area.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz host the program, in which they seek out antiques, collectibles and other relics from the distant past. They aim to recycle and rescue the long-forgotten items and learn the stories behind them.

The show is hoping to meet people who have these collections and possibly feature them in the series. Items that many might see as junk, Wolfe and Fritz believe could offer the most interest.

They have traveled all over the country and have looked through homes, sheds, barns and other places where people store their collections. Now, those living in Pennsylvania have the opportunity to be on the show.

American Pickers can be contacted by phone at 1-855-OLD-RUST (653-7878) or by email at AmericanPickers@cineflix.com. They are asking for the name of the collector, the town the collection is in and a description of the items.
