Peters Township golfers win TCADA championship
Peters Township finished 1-2 during the Tri-County Athletic Director’s Association Championship played on the Par 72 course at the Lone Pine Country Club. A field of 15 teams and 90 individuals competed in the best 5-of-6 team score event.
PT entered a Red and a White squad. The Red unit edged the White, 374-403, in the team standings. Canon-McMillan placed third with a 411 score followed by Trinity (434) and South Fayette (472).
Hunter Bruce claimed runner-up medalist honors, shooting an even par.
David Chapman won the event with a four-under 68.
South Fayette’s Luke Lestini followed in fourth place with a 73 while Matt Petrisin from Peters finished fifth with a 74.
Cade Martin (seventh, 75), Parker Johnson (ninth, 75) and Michael Bell (10th, 76) rounded out the Top 10. All compete for Peters.
Taylor Waller with an eighth-place finish and 75 score rounded out the area’s top 10 finishers.
