Senior series
Peters Township Parks & Recreation will hold “The Beatles & Bagels” from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 24 at the amphitheater in Peterswood Park, as part of its new Senior Series. The event is free for seniors and includes light breakfast options. Bring a lawn chair. Sign up at the front desk or by calling 724-942-5000.
Fitness classes
Westminster Recreation and Outreach Center (WROC) at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, will offer Fitness For Seniors (55+) beginning the week of Sept. 5. Classes include:
• Strong Bodies – Strong Bones, 9 to 9:50 a.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 6-Dec. 13.
• Gentle Yoga Morning & Evening Classes, 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 11-Oct. 25.
• Arthritis Foundation Exercise, 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Mondays and 10 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 6-Oct. 23.
• Tai Chi, 11:15 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, Sept. 6-Dec. 13.

Seniors lunch
A Pre High Holiday Seniors Lunch will be held at noon on Sept. 12 at the South Hills JCC on Kane Boulevard. There will be a special Shofar presentation, High Holiday music, raffles and honey cake. Suggested donation is $5. Wheelchair accessible. For more information, call Barb at 412-278-2658.
RETIRED MEN MEET
The Retired Men’s Luncheon Group will meet on Sept. 21 at Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road. Lunch will be served at noon. TOPS Weight loss

Dormont AARP
Dormont AARP #3015 meets the second Thursday of each month throughout the year at Unity Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road. All seniors age 55 and older and new members are welcome. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. A meeting follows at noon. Activities include entertainment, speakers, pancake brunch, covered dish dinner, annual picnic, fundraisers and travel opportunities. Pickleball
