Bethel Park High School musicians honored
Eleven Bethel Park High School musicians successfully auditioned and were selected to play in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association’s District Band Concert, which will be held on Feb. 11 at Mt. Lebanon High School. Representing Bethel Park in this event will be seniors Ken Barnhart (horn), Casey Hammer (horn), Maria Jay (horn), Jonathan Lucchitti (tuba), Jakob McCormick (tenor saxophone) and Joe Mueser (trumpet). Also participating in this concert will be juniors Bruce Deal (tuba), Carly Kaminski (clarinet), Shayaan Meyers (bass clarinet), Tyler Petrossi (percussion) and sophomore Connor Remington (tuba). Bethel Park High School Band Director Chad Thompson teaches the students.
