Fitness
Westminster Recreation & Outreach Center (WROC) at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, offers an Arthritis Foundation Exercise class for seniors age 55 and older, from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesdays, July 5-26 and from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Mondays, July 10-31. Summer lunch
Chabad of the South Hills, Mt. Lebanon, will hold a Summer Seniors Lunch at noon on July 12. The event will include carnival games and more. Suggested donation is $5. Wheelchair accessible. To register your group, call 412-278-2658 or email barb@chabadsh.com.
Open house
Concordia of the South Hills, located on Bower Hill Road in Mt. Lebanon, will hold an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. July 16. Tour the building including retirement living apartments as well as personal care and short term rehab/skilled nursing units. Refreshments will be served in the Harmony Room in the common area of the community. Retired Men meet
The Retired Men’s Luncheon Group will meet on July 20 at Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church on Old Clairton Road. Lunch will be served at noon. Sue Gartland will play guitar and sing folk music. Cost for lunch is $8, payable at the door. For reservations, call the church office at 412-655-2000.

Senior lunch/movie
Mt. Lebanon Recreation will offer a senior lunch and movie matinee on July 18 at the Rec Center, 2nd floor, Room A, for senior adults and their adult guests (Mt. Lebanon residency is not required). Check-in is at 10:30 a.m. in the Rec Office. At 11 a.m. there will be a presentation by Baptist Homes titled “Dynamic Aging.” A hot buffet lunch and 50/50 raffle follow at noon. At 1 p.m. a movie will be shown on the big screen. Wear red, white and blue. Fee of $6 due by July 14. Preregister. Walk-ins are not encouraged and will only be accepted if space permits. Senior series
Peters Township Parks & Recreation has begun a new Senior Series at the Amphitheater in Peterswood Park. The events, which are free for seniors and include light breakfast options, take place from 10 a.m. to noon and include: July 27, “Summer Garden Party” with storyteller Kim Adley; Aug. 24, “the Beatles & Bagels.” Bring a lawn chair. Pickleball
• Chapel Sages at The Bible Chapel, McMurray, offers Open Gym Pickleball from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, through Sept. 5 at the South Hills campus. For more information, contact sports@biblechapel.org.

Dormont AARP

Theatrical-minded seniors
Better Than Ever Independents, also known as the Sassy Seniors, is a theatrical group that performs vaudeville-type shows at nursing homes, AARP meetings and more. New members age 50 and older are needed. For more information, email jangary2@hotmail.com.
