Baldwin

Baldwin United Presbyterian Church is conducting vacation Bible school from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, July 5, 12, 19 and 26, for children ages 5 to 12. Bible lessons will focus on a water theme with crafts, activities, singing and snacks. Free. To register, call Margie at 412-653-1400.

Bethel Park

Christ United Methodist Church will offer Vacation Bible Experience 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon July 10-14. Pick up your passport and head to “ROME” this summer. Dive into authentic foods and culture, as well as meet the apostle Paul and the underground church. As always, elementary-aged children will choose their own group from themes such as cooking, basketball, creative crafts and soccer. Bethel Park

Hero Central vacation Bible school for preschool children ages 3-5 years is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday at South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park. Free. Preregister online at www.southhillsassembly.org or call 412-835-8900.

Eighty Four

Thomas Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, will hold its summer vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 7-11, for children ages 4-11. Heroes will make their way to various headquarters as they listen to Bible stories, make their own art projects, sing new songs, explore science, play games and enjoy treats. Finleyville

Crossroads Ministries, Finleyville, will hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon July 17-21, for pre-K (and potty trained) through sixth grade. During “Gadgets & Gizmos,” children will discover how we are all uniquely wired and wonderfully made. There will be high-energy worship, Bible lessons, skits, prizes, games, snacks, crafts and service projects. There is no cost – purchasing a VBS T-shirt is optional and available during the week. Scott

Berean Fellowship Church, Scott, will offer a free vacation Bible school, The Mater’s Workshop, from 9 a.m. to noon July 31-Aug. 3, for ages 4-12. Various activities including small group lessons and crafts, large group instruction, puppets and a field day. This year’s daily live drama explores how we are created to be and why. Lunch provided. Parents are encouraged to attend the weekly Thursday service, which imparts what was learned during the VBS program. All material written in house; not a box event.
