At Nativity Parish, South Park, reservations are due by May 5 for a Mother’s Day Brunch, hosted by the Auxiliary of the Sisters of St. Francis from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. May 14. The menu will feature breakfast foods, including fresh fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheesy potatoes and crepes. Brunch is $15 per person and $7.50 for children age 10 and under. At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, a new session of Grief Share (support and encouragement after the death of a loved one), led by Pastor Pat Sutton, meets from 10 a.m. to noon or from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through June 29. Find help for the grieving process through this Bible-based support group. Class consists of DVD teaching followed by discussion and sharing with others also on the grief journey. Join anytime and return for any of the classes you missed. Registration is $15 and includes a workbook.

At St. Louise de Marillac Parish, Upper St. Clair, the 100th anniversary of the famed Marian apparitions experienced by three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria in Fatima, Portugal, will be celebrated with weekly devotions each Tuesday in May with rosary and confessions with two priests at 6:30 p.m. followed by Novena prayers, a Fatima sermon, prayers for healing and benediction at 7:30. Preachers will include: May 9 – The Call to Prayer: Father Dennis Yurochko; May 16 – The Call to Penance: Father Brian Welding; May 23 – Devotion to the Immaculate Heart: Father Isaac Hayweiser, OSB; May 30 – Consecration to the Immaculate Heart: Deacon William Strathmann.
