Jewish event
Seniors in the Sukkah will be held at noon on Oct. 10, at Chabad of the South Hills, Mt. Lebanon. The event will feature lunch, music, a chance to shake the Lulav and Etrog, and a special holiday program. Suggested donation is $5. Wheelchair accessible. Hilltoppers meet
The Hilltoppers of Scott Township will meet on Oct. 11 at Covenant-Community Presbyterian Church, 1630 Greentree Road. Doors open at 11 a.m. for fellowship. Bring a brown bag lunch to eat at noon. Dessert is provided and beverages will be available. After a brief business meeting, Peggy and John will present the musical program “Renewed Memories.” Visitors welcome; new members needed. Luncheon/movie
Register by Oct. 13 for Mt. Lebanon Recreation’s senior luncheon and movie matinee on Oct. 17 at the Mt. Lebanon Rec Center, 2nd Floor, Room A, for senior adults and their adult guests (Mt. Lebanon residency not required). A flu shot clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in Room B (free with Medicare). The luncheon will begin at 10:30 in Room A (check-in at the Rec Office). The presentation “I’m a Senior, Now What? Which services are available to me?” will take place at 11. At noon a hot lunch buffet will be served and there will be a 50/50 raffle. The movie will follow at 1 p.m. Fee of $6 is due by the Friday before the luncheon. Preregistration is required. TOPS Weight loss

Dormont AARP
Dormont AARP #3015 meets the second Thursday of each month throughout the year at Unity Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road. All seniors age 55 and older and new members are welcome. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. A meeting follows at noon. Activities include entertainment, speakers, pancake brunch, covered dish dinner, annual picnic, fundraisers and travel opportunities. Fitness classes
Westminster Recreation and Outreach Center (WROC) at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, will offer Fitness For Seniors (55+). Classes include:
• Strong Bodies – Strong Bones, 9 to 9:50 a.m. Wednesdays, through Dec. 13.
• Arthritis Foundation Exercise, 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Mondays and 10 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesdays, through Oct. 23.
• Tai Chi, 11:15 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, through Dec. 13.

Pickleball
