The morning commutes in and out of the city are back to normal with the reopening of the Port Authority’s Station Square T stop.

The inbound track officially reopened Aug. 25 after the station spent about three weeks closed to clean up debris and replace the track and power lines from the Aug. 5 freight train derailment.

Outbound lines began running again Aug. 23. The light rail system had been using the old Allentown line while repairs were made.
