Missing Bethel Park woman found dead in South Park
A Bethel Park woman missing since late December has been found dead in South Park.
The body of Diane Lynn Chotta was found Jan. 6 in the 6300 block of Library Road, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner.
Chotta, 52, was last seen Dec. 27 leaving My Place Bar at 4113 Brownsville Road in South Park. Bethel Park police are investigating her death.
Her car was found covered in snow Jan. 3 at the Port Authority’s West Library Park and Ride lot, police said. Police said she had left the car there earlier in the day Dec. 27, and her cellphone had been turned off since that night.
Police said Chotta was living with her mother at the time of her disappearance, but she also had ties to Munhall and Crawford County.
