Representatives from St. Clair Hospital will be at the Upper St. Clair Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park from 2 to 6 p.m. July 10 to provide free tetanus and/or Hepatitis A immunizations for Upper St. Clair residents, employees and property owners.

The vaccinations are recommended for those who have been exposed to flood waters and have not had a tetanus shot within the past 10 years.

A Hepatitis A vaccination requires two injections. Those who receive a Hepatitis A injection will receive a waiver so they can get the second shot six months later at no cost.

St. Clair Hospital representatives recommend the Hepatitis A shot for those heavily involved with cleanup who weren’t wearing gloves or boots.
