Car crashes into Bethel Park home

A car backed into the front of a home on Parkridge Drive in Bethel Park just after 10 p.m. Oct. 7.
Bethel Park police are investigating the crash, and suspect it was an accident.
Bethel Park police Chief Timothy O’Connor said that two residents were home at the time of the crash, but were in another room and were not injured. The driver, who was outside of the vehicle when it backed into the residence, was knocked down and suffered some scrapes and bruises. The driver did not need to be taken to the hospital.
The hole caused by the vehicle was boarded up. Police are unsure how the crash happened or if a medical or mechanical issue may be to blame.
