Castle Shannon VFD hosts annual train show
Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department will present its annual train show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 in the department’s Memorial and Firemen’s halls at Route 88 and Grove Road.
The event features 200 vendor tables, an exclusive parts department and six operating displays. Outdoor family activities and train rides will be offered, weather permitting.
A history center will chronicle the history of railroading in Western Pennsylvania, and a kitchen will serve food and drinks, including freshly squeezed lemonade, throughout the event.
Admission is $7, and children 12 and under are admitted for free. For more information, visit www.csvfd.org.
