Our Lady of Grace teacher wins diocese award
Our Lady of Grace Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Geraldine Muraco was recently named one of the 2019 winners of the Pittsburgh Diocese’s Golden Apple Award. The Golden Apple Award honors outstanding educators who teach or serve as administrators in Catholic schools. The Donohue Family Foundation of Pittsburgh sponsors the award. Muraco’s selection came from a field of many outstanding educators in Catholic schools and is a recognition of the commitment of all Catholic school teachers and administrators throughout the diocese, according to a news release from Diane Seybert, director of advancement at Our Lady of Grace School.
“We are very proud of Mrs. Muraco and are blessed to have her here at OLG,” Seybert said.
