Mainstay Life Services hires new associate director of employment services
Mainstay Life Services, the Scott Township nonprofit that provides lifelong support to people with developmental disabilities, continues to grow with the hiring of Lisa Svidron as associate director of employment services.

Lisa Svidron
Svidron previously was a caseworker and recreation instructor/goal plan specialist for Allegheny Valley School in Robinson Township. She also worked for Achieva and most recently, InVision Human Services.
At both, Svidron worked to provide employment services to those with disabilities through résumé and interview preparation, on-the-job support, communication with employers and managing all necessary paperwork. She also has extensive experience in team management and budgeting.
“As Mainstay grows, it’s really important that we hire experienced and passionate employees,” chief executive officer Kim Sonafelt said. “Lisa really fits that mold and we’re excited to see what she will accomplish in her new role. She will help us continue to move in a positive direction.”
