The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and 22 in the Academy Avenue parking lot. Admission is free.

Presented by Mt. Lebanon Partnership, the weekend’s big regional draw is a juried art sale, with a wide variety of items in such media as fabrics, painting, photography, jewelry, glass and wood. Twenty new artists are featured this year.

“The competition among the artists to earn a place at this festival ensures the quality is top-notch, on par with the most prestigious arts festivals in the region,” organizer Steve Denenberg said. “But the best part is that it’s fun. The crowd is vibrant and the food and music are exceptional.”

Each day will include performances by Maureen Renihan from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Pete Hewlett and Scott Anderson from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Daily demonstrations include Tom Savini’s Special Makeup Effects Program and Mt. Lebanon High School AP Art students, led by department chairwoman Jen Rodriguez.

Christopher Mark Jones will perform at the market’s free “pARTy” from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Clearview Common, Washington Road.

An on-site raffle will benefit Mt. Lebanon Partnership’s scholarship fund. In the last two years, the nonprofit economic development organization has awarded $1,000 each to six students furthering their art studies.

Food trucks include Arancini House, BRGR, Country Hammer Moonshine, Curly Tin Rizzi Ice Cream, Mac & Gold Truck, Revival Chili and Totopo.
