Concordia announces leadership appointments
Concordia Community Support Services has appointed vital leadership positions to support the growth that the organization has experienced.
CCSS is part of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, a faith-based aging services network has been in operation for 138 years and operates a retirement community, Concordia of the South Hills, in Mt. Lebanon.
The promotions are for Misty Ingram as chief operating officer, Stacy Mathers as director of quality and compliance, Kimberly Kepple as chief nursing officer and William Bellas as director of therapy.
Ingram began her clinical career at Concordia Personal Care as a nurse’s aide 15 years ago, while attending Butler County Community College. She transferred to Concordia Visiting Nurses and worked as a field nurse for more than six years while earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University. Before her latest promotion, she served as clinical supervisor in the Cabot branch office, corporate compliance officer and, most recently, director of centralized services.
Mathers joined the Concordia team in 2009 as a field clinician. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Butler County Community College, and bachelor’s and master’s in health informatics from Slippery Rock. She became the clinical staff educator and advanced into several roles, most recently as a director of special projects, assisting executive leadership on various operational and strategic opportunities.
Kepple has been with Concordia for 15 years in a variety of roles. She worked as a field clinician, clinical supervisor and most recently as clinical director. In her newly created position as chief nursing officer, she is the primary spokeswoman for the Concordia Community Support Services nursing team members and has oversight for coordination of all daily nursing operations. Kepple earned her licensed practical nurse certification at Lenape and her registered nursing diploma from the former Citizens General Hospital.
Bellas, an Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate with a degree in speech and language pathology, came to Concordia two years ago with a diverse and seasoned background in rehabilitation settings. He also served in the military from 2002 to 2010 and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In his expanded role, Bill will be responsible for assisting the agency with changes in how therapy is delivered across the continuum of care.
In 2015, CCSS was established as the management company for Concordia Visiting Nurses, Visiting Nurse Association Alliance, Concordia Private Care and Good Samaritan Hospice. The organization employs nearly 400 and provided 266,754 professional service visits to patients last year.
