Pittsburgh man indicted for Castle Shannon bank robbery

A Pittsburgh man was indicted June 26 by a federal grand jury after he allegedly robbed a Castle Shannon bank.
Deontre Simpson, 23, of Pittsburgh, was the sole defendant facing a charge of bank robbery.
Simpson allegedly robbed the Dollar Bank at 400 Mt. Lebanon Boulevard of $4,661 April 29, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady.
Simpson faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, the release said.
Mt. Lebanon, Castle Shannon and Allegheny County police departments were assisted in the investigation by the FBI.
