Humane Animal Rescue has appointed Mt. Lebanon resident Kelli Wall as its new chief philanthropy officer.

As a member of the Homewood-based organization’s executive leadership team, Wall will be responsible for raising awareness and philanthropic support of Human Animal Rescue’s animals, shelters and wildlife rehabilitation center through public outreach and individual, community and corporate partnerships.

“We are thrilled to add Kelli to the Humane Animal Rescue team,” chief executive officer Dan Rossi said. “Her knowledge, talent and experience will elevate our philanthropic initiatives to an even higher level, ensuring that we can care for more animals and provide more forever homes.”

Wall is a seasoned fundraising professional and brings nearly two decades of increasingly responsible experience to Humane Animal Rescue. Her prior experience includes appointments with the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, American Heart Association, Medical Health and Science Foundation at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC, and most recently, Gateway Rehabilitation.

Active in numerous community organizations, Wall currently serves on the board of directors of Allegheny Family Network. Previous board appointments include the Women & Girls Foundation and Sarah Heinz House.

“I am honored and excited to join one of the largest animal welfare organizations in Pennsylvania to raise awareness and support for the tens of thousands of animals that need and deserve us each year. It is a cause that is close to my heart,” Wall said.

She and her family have three rescues, Jaxson, Chloe and Charlie.
