Bethel Park aims for May 4 to reopen municipal building, library, community center

Tentative plans call for the Bethel Park Municipal Building and public library, 5100 W. Library Ave., and Bethel Park Community Center, 5151 Park Ave., to reopen to the public May 4.
During the closure period, all recreation and library programs are canceled. Library patrons can keep any library materials at home, and late fees will not be charged during the time that their library is closed. Items for pickup will be held until the library reopens.
“While we are closed the public, we will remain staffed and available via either the telephone or email during normal business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday,” Bethel Park municipal manager Laurence Christian said. “We’ll continue to provide essential services to our residents during this period.”
