Hayes Design Group Architects is broadening its ownership from one owner – founder and president, Kevin Hayes, who has led the firm since 1992 – to add three shareholders, expanding the firm’s senior leadership team to four members.

The move is part of Hayes Design Group’s recently announced leadership transition plan, which calls for Hayes to continue as principal of the firm during a five- to seven-year transition period. The new shareholders of the firm include Mark Duane, Hayes Design Group principal, and Robert Rensi and Andrew Campanaro, both project managers at HDG, who have also been named as associates of the firm.

Duane joined the firm in 2004 and has 30 years of architectural experience, including municipal, religious, educational and commercial projects. He is a Peters Township resident and recently joined the board of Peters Township Chamber of Commerce.

Rensi, an Upper St. Clair resident, joined HDG in 2011 and has 21 years of experience. He is a registered architect and earned his architectural degree from Kent State University. He is also LEED AP certified.

Campanaro, who lives in Mt. Lebanon, joined the firm in 2010 and has 14 years of architectural experience. He is a registered architect with a master of architecture degree from Arizona State University. He is also LEED AP BD+C certified.

Local Hayes Design Group projects have included the under-construction Peters Township High School, Rolling Hills Park facilities currently in design in Peters Township, West Allegheny High School’s natatorium addition and Presley’s Place, the award-winning sensory-friendly room at Pittsburgh International Airport.
