Studio donates paint-your-own-pottery kits to doctors, nurses

Fired Up Pottery Studio in Peters Township has donated 200 paint-your-own-pottery kits to the doctors and nurses at Washington Hospital.
The kits contain a bird ornament, paints, brushes and instruction.
Debra Bracco, studio owner, said the kits are intended to help promote stress release.
“When people create something beautiful through painting, they stimulate the creative mind while relieving mental strain,” she said. “A low stress level leads to a happier, healthier lifestyle and helps improve overall mental health.
“We want to thank the doctors and nurses for relentlessly taking care of our community and to let them know they are appreciated.”
