Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund announces new executive director

The Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund Board of Directors today announced Amy Martin has been elected as the new executive director, effective April 1.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications. She has an extensive background in administration and community relations in Upper St. Clair and Mt. Lebanon, and is a credentialed Certified Fund Raising Executive and member of the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations and Executives.
“Directing the efforts to help children and their families through the Children’s Free Care Fund will be challenging while we navigate new ways of fundraising in a pandemic era, but I am ready to pick up the torch and carry on the legacy,” Martin said. “My goal for the Children’s Free Care Fund is to promote our mission to assure that children are never denied the medical care they require and the support their families need. My hope is that Howard Hanna will be recognized as a leader in pediatric philanthropy in all markets we serve now and in the future.”
Since its inception in 1988, the free care fund’s foundation has raised and donated more than $18 million to various children’s hospitals and children’s causes in the Howard Hanna Real Estate footprint.
