Nine Upper St. Clair students named to all-state ensembles
Nine Upper St. Clair High School students successfully auditioned to participate in four 2021 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association all-state ensembles.
- All-State Orchestra: Sophie Chen, grade 11, violin; Naiya Livingston, grade 12, violin; Rumaysa Alam, grade 11, viola; Eleanor Alford, grade 10, viola
- All-State Chorus: Ben Lang, grade 12, bass; Rebecca Lang, grade 10, soprano; Maddie Nolen, grade 12, Alto
- All-State Wind Ensemble: Phoebe Chen, grade 11, flute
PMEA is a statewide nonprofit organization of more than 4,000 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians.
