Carolers from Higher Voice Studio hit all the right notes with a performance of “Jingle Bells” Dec. 17 during Christmas in Carnegie. Folks stopped to tap their toes and record the carolers as they filled the air with holiday cheer.

Christmas came early to Carnegie Borough, which hosted a daylong celebration Dec. 17 that included carolers, gifts and a visit from Santa Claus. The man in red posed for photos with children against a festive backdrop by Funky Inflatables while folks mingled along Main Street, dropping into local businesses – which handed out goodies – and voting for their favorite window display. In the evening, Santa Claus added fur babies to his “Nice List” during a pet picture session. Holiday festivities were made possible by sponsors Rep. Anita Kulik, Friends of Pat Catena and PetWellClinic.
